Events

Photos of the West Point Drill Meet include color guard, armed regulation, and unarmed regulation events.

Battalion gatherings provide cadets the opportunity to prepare for upcoming events and participate in recreational activities.  They provide an excellent opportunity to improve esprit de corps, morale, and develop teamwork.

During the first semester each year cadets have the opportunity to participate in an overnight camping trip.  The primary purpose of this camping trip is to provide the first year cadets to meet their fellow cadets and to experience camping in preparation for the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC).  Activities during the overnighter include rope bridging and rappelling.

Each year the bulldog battalion participates in a service learning project selected, planned, organized, and conducted by the cadets.  During the 2011-2012 school year the cadets, in coordination with the community organization Totally Against Grafitti (TAG), painted out grafitti on the bridge over the Manoa-Palolo Drainage Canal.

These are pictures from last year's service learning project in which our cadets visited Hokulani Elementary to educate 5th grade students about America as well as their responsibilities and duties as citizens of our nation.

The Harbor Challenge is an annual event that takes place at Pearl Harbor.  Our team competes against other JROTC teams in events such as physical training, coconut tree climb, and putting on a fireman suit.
